snake suggestions........

well, after i get back from vacation i would like to get a snake for my empty 40g breeder. something not so common. i alread have a ball python, cali king, and a viper boa. any suggestions. i want some thing that won't get lost in the tank and that won't get enormous

Any interest in a sand/desert dwelling snake? The only thing with that is they will get lost in the 40g if you give them enough sand to burrow. The 40g pretty much rules out any arborial snakes.

Maybe if you stood the tank

Maybe if you stood the tank vertically, covering a good portion of screen with acrylic or the like, you could house an arborial like a Green Tree Python? Or maybe an Amazon Tree Boa. Just silicone in a peice of wood or something for a perch.

thats not a bad idea. though i moved my viper boa into the 40g. now i have an empty 29g that im going to make into a planted fish tank for a school of blood fin tetras
